When you create a profile, apply for positions, or communicate with our recruiting team through Pitechpedia Careers, we collect several types of data necessary for processing applications and identifying match opportunities.
- Identity & Contact Details: Full name, email address, telephone number, and physical mailing address (or geographic region).
- Professional Profile & Background: Resume/CV, cover letter text, academic degrees, professional credentials, employment history, portfolio links, and LinkedIn profile URLs.
- Evaluation Performance: Coding tasks, design assessments, interviewer scorecards, and HR screening notes compiled during evaluation phases.
- Technical Platform Data: System audit logs, IP addresses, browser types, and session tokens collected to ensure platform stability and prevent cybersecurity threats.
How We Use Your Data
We process your candidate information strictly for recruitment-related activities. We do not sell, rent, or trade applicant information with external marketing networks. We use your data to:
- Evaluate your qualification suitability for active job postings and specialized projects.
- Notify you regarding interview schedules, application stage updates, and offer releases.
- Perform background checks, verify credentials, and proceed with hiring/onboarding workflows.
- Maintain our Talent Pool directory to notify you of future opportunities that align with your credentials.
- Investigate security incidents, prevent duplicate applications, and verify candidate veracity.
Information Security
Pitechpedia implements comprehensive administrative, physical, and technical controls to safeguard applicant records from unauthorized access, loss, manipulation, or disclosure.
Your resume files and profile data are stored in secure directories accessible only to verified hiring managers, HR specialists, and system administrators. Sensitive communications are encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
Data Retention
We retain candidate profiles and application history for as long as necessary to fulfill recruitment objectives, document compliance requirements, or maintain your participation in our Talent Pool.
If you wish to withdraw your candidate application, opt-out of our Talent Pool, or request the deletion of your account records, please contact our support team or manage your account directly inside the candidate portal.
Candidate Rights
As a candidate, you hold full autonomy over the information you choose to share. Under our data guidelines, you have the right to:
- Access & Rectify: You can view, edit, and update your personal data, qualifications, and resume at any time via the Profile panel in the sidebar.
- Restrict Processing: You can choose whether to make your profile visible inside our active Talent Pool.
- Account Deletion: You can request complete erasure of your candidate account and past application records by submitting a request through our Support portal.
